      Haha still love that name snake oil;) And yes, we understand that this may still be the perception for some. However our product does what it says on the tin and is safe to use. It helps the Diesel engine to complete a proper regeneration process in order to clean the collected soot from the DPF.

    Thank you for the vid. Very useful! I have a 2013 Toyota Yaris with a DPF and the engine has 130.000km (80.000 miles). I have a problem with the oil level due to very frequent regens (I counted that regens occur every 250-300 km. So the oil level increases at every 2.000 or 3.000 km and a spanner turns on on the dashboard. I visited a TOYOTA dealer last year and they said that the DPF is in a good condition. Three months ago I visited another mechanic because the spanner was on again. He made a forced regen (after that the DPF was at 15%). Also he changed the oil. Now the spanner is on again and the mechanic says that I have to change the oil... This is very confusing and I am kind of desperate. It is simply unaffordable to have an oil change every 3 or 4 months. So my question is: If the DPF is in a good condition, then why does my Yaris regen so often? Could it be a problem on the electronics or the engine management system? Could we simply adjust somehow the way or frequency that regens occur, perhaps by using some additives?

      Very sorry to learn about your troubles with your car. I am afraid we cannot solve any specific mechanical or diagnostics vehicle issues. With our products we can clean and also prevent and condition parts of the (diesel) fuel system. For your specific questions we can only advise to consult a local specialist workshop who are good at diagnosing specific matters. Hope this is of help to you!

    DO NOT DO THIS. This product is a fantastic way to destroy your SCR (Down stream of the DPF) and who knows what else in your fuel system. Your vehicle's built in regen system is perfectly capable of cleaning the DPF properly by burning off the carbon buildup. Also, running a regen cycle manually while parked is ill advised as the system is counting on airflow to manage the underhood and underbody temperatures that regen generates. The system is heating the DPF to over 900°F, very similar to an home oven's self cleaning mode. Without airflow that can damage surrounding components.

      Há! Many thanks for sharing your concerns Secret Man! And yes, in theory the DPF system should manage everything perfectly by itself. However, in real life scenario the DPF and is affected by many external factors which it cannot control. For these matters we offer dedicated solutions partly for professional mechanics and even some DIY options. All our products are safe to use and do not cause any damage to the car when used correctly. Hope this helps!

      Hi! And thank you for your question! It is difficult to say how often you should use a JLM DPF Cleaning Spray. What is important is that you not only clean the blocked diesel particulate filter, but you also try to find the cause of the blockage. Because if you don't find and fix the cause, the DPF will block again with excessive soot particles. and the DPF warning light will switch on again.

    I'm wondering what the pressure is at full throttle on 6th gear before and after cleaning 🤔 what does it compare to out of car high-pressure cleaning? 🤔 where are all the ash deposits going? I have idle pressure 7mbar, 2.5k rpm is about 50mbar. But full throttle reaches over 400, and that makes my fuel injection limits reached, and the car doesn't reach its full engine torque. What about that?

    What happens if the pre-dpf hose at the sensor is not connected to anything because it is using ambient air pressure as input? Where would you put the solution?

      The idea is to feed the dpf cleaning fluid right before the substrate so that the pressure flow feeds the fluid into the filter substrate. So maybe you can use that hole or an alternative one. When in doubt consult a dpf specialist. Thanks!

I've seen in other videos from O'Reilly's autos that in those cars with only the after-dpf hose connected, he disconnects the adblue nozzle(good idea to also clean that) and adds the solution before the dpf from there. Would that work? Car is Audi A4 B9 2.0 TDI (DETA engine).

      @@alexandrospanagiotou6309It is important to find the nearest access point for the fluid, looking from the front side of the dpf. For AdBlue injector cleaning we have a dedicated product that has to be added to the AdBlue fluid itself. This cleans both the inside and outside of the amble injector (crystallization)

      @@jlmlubricants for the Audi A4 b9, it looks like the adblue injector hole seems to be the perfect place to add the solution pre-dpf. To your point, it is important to use a good product for the adblue nozzle itself, but that is a different subject. I am just trying to understand what is the best approach for cars where the pre-dpf pressure hose is not connected ( implying air ambient pressure number is taken as pre-dpf value).

      @@alexandrospanagiotou6309 Usually we opt for the lambda sensor when the pressure sensor is difficult to reach. We are not familiar with vehicle specific dpf's as we are manufacturer of the fluids. But maybe this is an option for you, using the lambda sensor hole.

      Hi Walid! Thank you for your question. The J02210 DPF Cleaner can be added to a full tank of diesel - no problem. The AdBlue you refer to is a separate dosing system on your VW Touareg. There is no conflict between the two. Our fuel additive is perfectly competible with your car. Hope this helps! Thanks

      Gli additivi fanno più male che bene..... Effettua una sostituzione dei filtri più frequentemente, ed una pulizia degli iniettori. Molto meglio così!

    I have a 2009 Toyota Avensis 2 litre D4D 128BHP.The turbo works up to 4th gear on the motorway.Once i go in to 5th and the revs drop it stops boosting and becomes numb.So yes the turbo definitely can be fel working around town but seems to stop in high gear on the motorway.Is this product likely to cure this problem and where can it be bought?

      For sure the JLM Diesel Turbo Cleaner will have a strong cleaning effect- so deffo worth the try. Needless to say that it will not solve any mechanical issues your turbo may have.       @@gazmendhajdari4647 No unfortunately it didnt work for me.I ended up removing the air filter housing intake off and spraying carb and intake cleaner liberally in to the turbo and leaving it to soak for over 24 hours.On starting the car up the day after the revs shot up so i turned off the engine quickly.After a couple of minutes i restarted the car.I noticed a lot of smoke came out on first starting car.I took the car for a drive on the motorway and this problem had gone.Turbo now spools up in all gears.Its like a different car.The turbo blades must have been gunked up with carbon deposits causing it to stick and the carb and intake cleaner cleared it.I would recommend you get a professional mechanic to investigate first as i wouldnt want you damaging your cars engine.I performed this at my own risk and i was lucky it worked for me.

      Hoi Sikke! Na gebruik van de JLM Diesel Roetfilter Reinigingsspray is het sowieso belangrijk om te regenereren. Tijdens het regeneratie proces wordt het roetfilter namelijk pas echt gereinigd. Het is altijd beter om de auto zelf het regeneration process op te laten wekken. Dit kan je inderdaad doen door een flink stuk te rijden waarbij de auto voldoende warm wordt en enige tijd blijft zodat het roetfilter een compleet regeneratieproces kan maken en al het overtollige roet kan verbanden.       Hi, Redi! The use of this product truly serves that purpose, to prevent interrupted regenerations that, yes, would cause the engine light to come on. For vehicles that operate in urban circuits, it is almost mandatory to use this product; otherwise, it is impossible to reach the particle incineration temperature of the DPF in urban circuits. Only the regular highway circuits allow the vehicle to perform regenerations correctly.

    Die Anwendung war extrem gruselig. Sprüht man das bei laufendem Motor in das AGR Ventil hinein, macht der Motor richtig ekelhafte Mucken und Murren. Springt rum und klingt so, als würde er abwürgen, bis er sich wieder fängt. Ich denke es ist besser, den Ansaugkrümmer und das AGR Ventil samt Drosselklappe einfach auszubauen und zu reinigen, ist ja jetzt nicht so der Act. Aber bei laufendem Motor ist das definitiv gruselig.

      Vielen Dank für den Kommentar. Durch das Einsprühen des Reinigers wird eine „Überfettung“ des Kraftstoff-Luft Gemischs verursacht. Das drohende Absterben des Motors ist daher ganz normal. Deshalb soll der Motor bei etwas 2000U/min gehalten werden und der AGR-Reiniger stoßweise in den Ansaugkrümmer gesprüht werden. Natürlich können die Bauteile auch im ausgebauten Zustand gereinigt werden. Bei manchen Fahrzeugen ist das jedoch teilweise ein enormer Aufwand.

      Hi, Sohail! According to the European emissions standards (Euro 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6), all vehicles must have emissions control systems to limit the gases expelled into the environment. Failure to comply can result in vehicle seizure and fines. However, regardless of legal requirements, these systems are integrated into the vehicle's circuitry, and if not properly bypassed, they can cause problems with existing sensors and continuously generate errors, disrupting the proper functioning of the vehicle and its adjacent sensors.       Man sollte mit keinem Auto ausschließlich Kurzstrecke fahren. DPF sei mal dahingestellt, aber dauerhafter Kurzstreckenbetrieb erhöht den Motorenverschleiß unheimlich, egal ob Diesel oder Benziner

    It would be good to get one of your trained garages to do job, told today that there work comes first, car could be sitting for upto 4 day waiting to get done. NO GOOD DPF DOCTOR

      @JLM Lubricants Revive is another product you spray directly into the turbo by removing the air intake pipe. As this is a method delivering a product directly to the turbocharger as opposed to the JML turbo diesel cleaner which is added to the fuel tank. I'm not asking about products specifically but more so the method by which they work.
